PUBLICATIONS
"CUA Studies in Early Christianity"
This series, published in conjunction with the Catholic University of America Press, is designed to present collections of essays built tightly around a single theme. Volumes need not be connected with a specific occasion, but the Editorial Board will consider selections of conference papers, as also essays in honor of a distinguished scholar. Editors are either approved or appointed by the Editorial Board.
Submissions
Phase 1: Anyone wishing to edit, sponsor or suggest a volume should first contact the General Editor, Philip Rousseau. A preliminary and conditional commitment will be made at that time.
Phase 2: Before final confirmation of the project by the Editorial Board, prospective editors will be asked to supply
a) A brief description of the book's unifying theme and rationale (500 words or less)
b) A list of contributors and chapter titles, with short descriptions (50 words or less each)
c) A specimen chapter
Phase 3: Editors are thereafter responsible for supplying completed copy in Chicago Manual style, which the General Editor will then forward to the Press with an accompanying letter of supportive comment.
Phase 4: The Press will then approve or reject the work in the light of its own readers' reports.

Monica Blanchard assists Sidney Griffith and Robin Darling Young (Notre Dame) in editing the series "Eastern Christian Texts in Translation."
Sidney Griffith is also Associate Editor of the Journal of Early Christian Studies, and serves on the Editorial Boards of Corpus Scriptorum Christianorum Orientalium, Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations, Medieval Encounters: Jewish, Christian, and Muslim Culture in Confluence and Dialogue, and the Bulletin of the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies (Amman, Jordan).
John Petruccione is Editor of the series The Library of Early Christianity, published by the CUA Press.
William E. Klingshirn is an Editor of the journal Traditio, and serves on the Editorial Committee of both “Translated Texts for Historians,” published by Liverpool University Press, and The Library of Early Christianity.
Philip Rousseau is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Late Antiquity, a Consulting Editor for the Australian series “Early Christian Studies,” and a member of the advisory team assisting with the Historical Guide to the Reception of Augustine, edited by Karla Pollmann, Mark Vessey, and Willemien Otten, to be published by Oxford University Press (probably in four volumes) in 2012.
